I’m a features writer with a particular interest in food issues. I write frequently for the Guardian and have written for the Sunday Times, the Times, the Financial Times, the Sunday Telegraph, the Independent, Prospect, Spear’s (where I’m a contributing editor), Waitrose Kitchen and Delicious. I’m also a travel columnist for Traveller, easyJet’s inflight magazine.

I comment regularly on TV (BBC News; Great British Bake-Off; Jamie & Jimmy’s Food Fight Club) and radio (Woman’s Hour; You & Yours; local BBC radio; Australian, Colombian, Polish and Russian national radio). I’ve also pitched and reported for The Food Programme on Radio 4.

In 2010 and 2011 I was shortlisted for the Guild of Food Writers New Media award. I grew up in Edinburgh, took a first in English at Oxford University, and now live in London.
