I’m a writer, and these days work I primarily for the Sunday Times in London. I write interviews and features across a range of subjects for that paper’s broadsheet features section, News Review, for which I’m the assistant editor. I also write elsewhere in the Sunday Times, including the Magazine, Style, Travel and Culture. In addition, I freelance extensively for British magazines.
Before joining the Sunday Times in January 2013, I was a freelance journalist for three years. I wrote regularly for the Guardian as well as for the Times, the Financial Times, the Sunday Telegraph, the Independent, Prospect and Spear’s, where I remain a contributing editor. I was nominated for several awards and appeared regularly on TV and radio, often discussing food.
